Formerly a Guinness farm workers cottage, extended and thoughtful refurbished. Clouds occupies an enviable, tranquil situation in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, enjoying panoramic views over the Rother Valley and Bodiam Castle.  The surroundings provide delightful walks. In the village is a privately owned railway, ideal for the nostalgic steam enthusiast, running between Bodiam and the market town of Tenterden.  There are beautiful gardens and Historic Houses to visit within an easy drive, together with the Ancient Cinque Port of Rye and Battle with its famous Abbey.

Lighthouse Artisan Bakery run regular day courses and is 5 minutes’ walk away. A must for the keen baker.

There are two characterful pubs within a pleasant stroll from our home where you can enjoy good food and hospitality. Together with the "Curlew" a Michelin Star restaurant about two miles away.

A   warm welcome awaits our guests.  The bedrooms are very comfortable and tastefully furnished with a choice of winter or summer down duvets and pillows.  Pure cotton bed linen. (Hypo-allergenic bedding will be provided upon prior request).  One guest room has a king size bed the other a double. Adjacent is a private modern shower room with power shower. 

Guest are welcome to relax in the sitting room, on the balcony or in the garden.
